When is the 2023 Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LVII is scheduled for Sunday, February 12, 2023. If recent Super Bowl history is anything to go by, it points to a kickoff time of 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. This would be a 4:30 PM local time kick off for Arizona.

Where is the 2023 Super Bowl?

The 2023 Super Bowl (LVII) will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Glendale, home of the Arizona Cardinals, offers a fantastic football fan experience with over 73,000 seats available for major events like the Super Bowl. This will be the fourth time Phoenix has hosted the big game.

Who’s playing?

It’s too soon to tell which teams will face off at Super Bowl LVII, but we have now reached the Championship round which will determine who plays in the 2023 Super Bowl.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles are other favorites, and they will be playing the Cincinnati Bengals and San Francisco 49ers respectively.

How many adverts are shown during the Super Bowl?

The amount of advertisements has been fairly regular across recent Super Bowls, with numbers varying between 80 and 100, equal to roughly 50 minutes of advertising time.

In 2020, 70 commercials were shown during the Super Bowl broadcast, equalling a total ad time of 46 minutes.

How much does a Super Bowl advert cost?

As per CNN, the cost of a single ad in the 2022 Super Bowl, was about $7 million.

To put that into perspective, it would have cost each advertiser roughly $233,000 per second for an ad in the 2022 Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.

Who is performing at the 2023 Super Bowl?

During halftime of the Super Bowl 57, the NFL typically presents a lengthy, and over-the-top musical performance. In recent years, the halftime performances have featured popular artists such as Justin Timberlake, Eminem, The Weeknd and Shakira.

The 2023 Super Bowl halftime show will be headlined by Rihanna.

Who is singing the national anthem?

Eight-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton will be performing the national anthem before the game kick's off on Sunday Feb 12 2023.

The country music singer has 15 Country Music Association and 10 Academy of Country Music awards, on top of his eight Grammys. An artist known as Babyface will also be performing "America the Beautiful" ahead of kickoff.

How many people watch the Super Bowl?

According to CBS, the 2021 Super Bowl was watched by 96.4 million people across TV and streaming outlets.

What do the Super Bowl winners receive?

The winning team of the Super Bowl is presented with the NFL championship trophy, otherwise known as the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Vince Lombardi led the Green Bay Packers to victory in the first two Super Bowls. Upon his death in 1970, the NFL named the Super Bowl trophy after the legendary head coach.

As well as the trophy, there are a range of other awards, including the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. The M.V.P. typically is chosen from the winning team but there has been an instance of a player on the losing team winning the award. This occurred in Super Bowl V when Chuck Howley of the Dallas Cowboys was selected the M.V.P. of Super Bowl. The Cowboys lost the game to the Baltimore Colts by a score of 16-13.

Every player on the winning team will also win a coveted Super Bowl ring that commemorates their victory.
